Morrocco
I wanted to take a beach landscape shoot, I visited Morrocco in March 2013 and decided to take a few clips of the sunset and sea as it was a perfect opportunity.

The shoot turned out to look quite good so I made the filming slower on the editing suite so that it would look more dreamy.

I actually filmed the sunset going down every 5 minutes for one hour and thought it would look good all put together on the editing suite after speeding up each clip. However this took up too much space in my video.

Lips Shoot

I decided that when the underwater clips were playing in my music video some of them carried on a bit too much so when the lyrics changed to chorus or became more upbeat I needed something layered over the top.

I filmed a girl in my media class, literally in the classroom half way through editing my video just singing the lyrics of the song. I then layered this over some of the underwater clips and decided it added extra richness to each underwater clip.

Eyes blinking shoot

I took a shot in the green room at college whilst in the process of editing. I used some harsh lighting and asked the model to blink, close her eyes and then open them again. I repeated this twice so that any mistaked could be rectified and then edited them on the editing suite to enhance the blue colour of the eyes. I decided that I needed this shoot for the end of the video when the actress is waking up out of her dream. I thought that the eyes opening would signify her waking up and reinforce the idea of it being a dream.
